XP DayZ is a game that lets players take on the role of either members of the military, bandits, or scavengers who must fight for survival in an open world setting. The game was first released on Microsoft Windows in March of this year and since then, it’s received a number of updates including the addition of new weapons and vehicles.
In recent weeks, developer Bohemia Interactive has been hard at work on patch 1.4 which is scheduled to release on October 10th and will include a number of new features including x1440p quality textures for players who have a powerful enough system. According to the developer, “This high resolution texture pack offers an even more realistic experience and allows us to add more detail to the environment while still keeping performance stable”.

Images Day 1
Images day one started with a few small screenshots of what was to come for the XP dayz mod. The first screenshot showed a player on a motorcycle travelling down a highway, the second screenshot showed a player driving in their car and the third screenshot showed an aircraft flying overhead.
The rest of the images were of players interacting with each other, either through chat or in-game action. Players could be seen chatting on the phone, playing games together or simply just looking around. One image even showed two players collaborating on building a shelter together.
Overall, it was clear that XP dayz is going to be filled with plenty of activity and community involvement. With big updates planned for release soon, there’s no doubt that everyone will be eagerly awaiting its arrival!
Images Day 2
XP DayZ is a new mod for ARMA 2 that promises to bring the realism of military combat simulation to the game. The development team over at Bohemia Interactive released some screenshots and videos of their new project on Monday, July 16th.
The developers say that XP DayZ is a “100% standalone” mod with its own dedicated server browser, editor, and forum. It retains all the features of Bohemia Interactive’s other ARMA 2 mods while adding an entirely new gameplay experience.
The developers state that XP DayZ aims to recreate the feeling of being in a real-world combat zone. Complete with realistic gunfire and sound effects. They’ve also borrowed some mechanics from Bohemia Interactive’s popular strategy game Operation Flashpoint. Dragon Rising to add more variety and tactical nuance to the gameplay.
